Jeff Jansen is an experienced, successful business and trial attorney. For the past 27 years, Jeff has represented individuals and businesses of all sizes - from sole proprietorships to Fortune 100 corporations - helping them pursue or protect their legal interests.
Jeff is a 1984 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and is a former Air Force officer. While in college, he was a member of Air Force Academy's nationally ranked debate and speech team, winning many competitions throughout the United States during his college years. He attended law school at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, working full time the second and third years of law school as a law clerk for some of the top firms in Texas. After graduating with honors in 1993 from UT Law School, Jeff moved to Houston, Texas to begin his legal career as an attorney with a litigation boutique firm that specialized in all types of high-profile, high-stakes litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants. After about 2 years working for the litigation boutique, in early 1996, Jeff went to work for the Houston office of the large international law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, LLP in its litigation section, where he represented the firm's clients in large state and federal lawsuits and arbitration proceedings.
In 2004, Jeff started a medical supply company that eventually became a nationwide online retailer of medical equipment and supplies. He was the President and General Counsel of Jansen Medical Supply, LLC for seven years until 2011, directing its day-to-day business operations and handling the periodic legal issues involved in operating a Medicare-approved supplier. In spring 2011, Jeff decided to again resume his legal career full-time and that is when he founded Jansen Law Firm, PLLC.
Jeff has extensive experience in successfully handling all aspects of litigation and trials for his clients. He also has parlayed his business experience into becoming a trusted advisor and counselor to a wide spectrum of businesses who have the need for business-legal advice in their planning and transactions.
